Jesus is Alive and Well

03 Feb

Are you suffering from the “religious fog”…an unfortunate malaise that dims your view of God and Jesus? The prominent symptom is a feeling of distance and disconnect, permeated by a vague sense of having missed something important.

Fortunately, there is a remedy.

Reading your Bible faithfully is the surest way back home. Another method is to read “Beautiful Outlaw” by John Eldredge. Doing both together, on a daily basis, ensures your return back home.

Eldredge takes a fresh look at the Gospels and dispels all notions about Jesus being a one dimensional character. Jesus was a real man who had a real personality that made him unique and unforgettable. Eldredge masterfully identifies Jesus’ playfulness, his cunning when dealing with the religious leaders and his fierce determination to lead the lost and lonely back to the Father.

As I stated in my book, “Walk With the Master,” Jesus longs to have a personal relationship with you. He is not a distant, historical figure who stays in the pages of the Bible. Jesus came to set us free, and lead us back to God.  Take time each day to develop your personal relationship with him.  He cares about you and longs to know you on a deep and intimate level.

Walk with the Master and he will lead you home.
